I received my degree in veterinary medicine in May, 2000. I worked at a full service and emergency medicine practice for 2 years and have been in general private practice since 2002. My main interests are wellness care, dentistry, ultrasound and internal medicine. My extracurricular activities include hiking, cycling, running and reading. My wife, Jennifer, and I have three dogs and a hen named Delilah.

I received my veterinary degree in 2003 from Oregon State University. I have been practicing in the Northwest ever since. While I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine, my strong interests lie in anesthesia, pain management, acupuncture, senior kitty diseases, and soft tissue surgery. Outside of work, I enjoys riding horses, salsa dancing, indoor and outdoor gardening, kayaking, and traveling. I currently shares my home with three kitty companions, Ylang Ylang the delicate flower, Lucy Lui the saucy calico, and Leo the lion. I also have a horse named Quinn who I used to compete in combined training and dressage with. I am really excited to welcome you to the Orchard Hills Animal Hospital family!

I have been with Orchard Hills Animal Hospital for nearly 20 years (!) and will work here as long as I work. The clients and patients feel like family after all these years. I feel blessed to have found a job I love going to everyday - I was born and raised on a farm so I guess it comes as no surprise I love working where I am in contact with animals. I have a 5 year old miniature dachsund I actually acquired from working here and he is the best little guy ever. In my free time I love camping and hiking all over the Pacific Northwest. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful area!

I started my life of veterinary medicine in 1992 at a hospital in Colorado as a receptionist and assistant.  After moving to Kentucky, I became a large animal assistant (LOVE cows!) and then on to Alaska where I became a CVT and head Surgery Tech.  I also worked at the Animal Laboratory with the University of Alaska with Arctic Ground Squirrels.  We were involved in a DISCOVERY channel project on the effects of Arctic Ground Squirrel hibernation and how it correlates to Alzheimer’s in humans.  I arrived here in WA in 2003 and have been at Orchard Hills since as a CVT and Hospital Manager and now just Bookkeeping.  I share my house with my husband, 4 Labradors (my favorite!) and 1 old kitty.  We love boating, camping and hiking and own a Doggy Daycare in Vancouver.

I grew up in Southern Idaho and moved to the Pacific Northwest in the early 90’s. I challenged the Veterinary Technician National Exam in 1994, and upon passing, have been a licensed veterinary technician since that time. I volunteer with the local humane society and the Feral Cat Coalition of Portland in my spare time. I am also an avid endurance rider, hauling my horses all across the Northwest from spring to fall. I have two grown kids, a son and daughter. I also share my life with a couple of Chihuahuas, two cats, anywhere from 2-4 horses & one Grumpy Old Man!

I unexpectedly started my veterinary career in 1997 and decided in late 2002 to sit for the Veterinary Technician Certification Boards. I received my Certification in 2003. I joined OHAH in June 2009 as the part-time weekend CVT.  I share my home with 7 special needs cats and a husband (all of which keep me on my toes). I'm also a full-time student working towards a degree in Human Nursing.  I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!

I graduated from Apollo College in Febuary 2008 and have been working at Orchard Hills ever since. I have a one-year old chocolate lab named "Ali" that I have had since she was 2 days old. She does everything and goes everywhere with me. In my free time I enjoy fishing, riding quads, and going to the beach.

I joined OHAH in April of 2007 as a kennel girl.  In September 2010 I advanced to a veterinary assistant and enjoy working more closely with your pet.  I have a Springer spaniel named Casey and a kitty.  In my free time I like to ride my quad, go camping, and spend time with my family and friends.

I have been a participant of the veterinary arts for four years and specialize in hugs. I am the proud parent of Lucille, a six year old St. Bernard and Frank the Cat, an old but spry feline. My future aspirations include becoming certified as a technician and opening a brewery/large breed dog rescue in Washington state. Outside work I indulge in karaoke and the eighties, sometimes simultaneously.
