A Vancouver, Washington native, Kristina discovered OVAH when her beloved dog Finley had knee surgery here, and the exceptional care he received made a lasting impression on her.
Kristina’s love for animals began early—as a child, she dreamed of becoming a veterinarian and grew up in a household full of animals. She now shares her home with quite the menagerie: Finley, her ultra-charming Maltese cross who “waves” at dogs and people and flashes his signature smile showing all his bottom teeth; Ricky, her lovably grumpy companion who stomps around demanding attention and has some strong opinions about indoor bathroom habits; Bubbles, who enjoys tossing objects around; and Bob-Marley, her bearded dragon whom she’s raised since age 9 (much to her mother’s initial surprise!) and who loves cuddling with her rabbit.
In her free time, Kristina adventures throughout the Pacific Northwest through hiking, camping, snowboarding, and surfing. She also enjoys painting, reading, and spending quality time with her pets.
