Rachel B

Veterinary Assistant

Born and raised in Vancouver, Washington, Rachel is currently pursuing her Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) degree with ambitious plans to attend veterinary school and eventually own her own practice. She’s also planning an exciting move to sunny Florida in a couple of years.
Rachel’s passion for animals developed early, growing up in a household that always included pets. Throughout her childhood, she gained hands-on experience caring for an impressive variety of animals, including fish, turtles, guinea pigs, dogs, cats, and hamsters—experiences that shaped her comprehensive understanding of animal care.
Today, Rachel is proud to share her home with four rescued animals: Dakota, her 9-year-old pittie; Topher, her energetic 6-month-old puppy; Graham Cracker, a 9-year-old flame point Siamese; and Rio, her 2-year-old domestic longhair cat.
When not at work, Rachel enjoys staying active at the gym, taking long walks with her dogs, and studying—which she finds genuinely enjoyable! She feels grateful for every opportunity to learn and improve her skills in veterinary medicine.
