Growing up in nearby Washougal, Washington, Alexis has always been familiar with OVAH and the excellent care they provide—she even brings her own cat here! When a friend mentioned a job opening, Alexis saw it as the perfect opportunity to try something new while working with the animals she’s always loved.
A Washougal High School graduate, Alexis brings fresh energy and genuine passion for animal care to her role as Kennel Assistant. When she’s not caring for our patients, you’ll find her spending time with friends or enjoying video games.
Alexis shares her home with Ziggi, a spirited cat known for her adorable zoomies—racing from the living room to the kitchen before launching herself at the sliding glass door with all four paws, creating quite the entertaining (and loud) spectacle!
