Stephanie P

Veterinary Assistant

Originally from Los Angeles and raised in Twentynine Palms, California, Stephanie found her way to OVAH through an externship program and was hired shortly after completing it—a testament to her dedication and skill.
Stephanie has always felt a deep connection with animals, but it was her sister-in-law who introduced her to the veterinary assistant program at Charter College through a VA program, officially launching her career in veterinary medicine.
Her family includes two very different but equally beloved dogs: Sky-blue, an all-white, blue-eyed husky she rescued from a shelter in Twentynine Palms, who stands out from other huskies with his shy and quiet personality; and Phoenix, her COVID puppy adopted after moving to Washington—an impulsive addition who keeps everyone on their toes with his spirited personality.
Stephanie loves making the most of the Pacific Northwest’s natural beauty, spending her free time with her dogs exploring the area’s stunning rivers and waterfalls. There’s nothing she enjoys more than sunny days spent adventuring outdoors with Sky-blue and Phoenix.
