Dr. Audrey Spaeth
Dr. Spaeth grew up in Seattle, and her affinity for veterinary medicine arose from shadowing at vet clinics during her time off while an AmeriCorps member. She attended Reed College for her undergraduate degree and earned her DVM degree at Washington State University. After moving to Camas, she met Dr. Laukkanen via volunteer work with the Girl Scouts, who introduced her to Dr. Barger—and the rest, as they say, is history.
Her family includes Jack, a sweet old pit bull who enjoys snuggling and eating snow. He also enjoys blatantly wandering off on solo adventures, so he’s equipped with a GPS tracker and is on a leash at all times. As she’s about to become a first-time mom, Dr. Spaeth’s spare time is soon to be quite limited, but at the moment, she enjoys reading, knitting, camping, and volunteering with the Girl Scouts to teach outdoor skills and first aid.
